The mind and body are linked. After all, we are just on big chemistry set or are we?
Whether you believe in any faith or not, we suggest a simple argument here that anyone who has ever tried mindfulness or meditation will tell you. You are the sum of your thoughts, only if you choose to be. Seriously, we all have an internal voice, or two, I am sure you get negative thoughts and nagging worries that won’t go away or hold you back?
Mindfulness, a version of the meditation arts practiced for thousands of years by some of the great religions can help you separate your thought and the essential you. The mind is of course connected to the body, what you eat and drink will affect your mood. Again, please keep hydrated and that doesn’t mean coffee, tea and wine/beer. Please remember you need the water to stay healthy.
In summary to build and maintain a better you:
Body: feed your body and mind with good food and enough water
Mind: clear your mind and get back in control with mindfulness or meditation
Soul: the eternal part of us.

You are in control
Some people feel trapped, in a situation. Or they have got themselves into a negative mindset. All of us have negative thoughts sometimes, even when things are going well. That voice in our head. Thoughts, that’s my point, will control you it is however your choice. How you view the world and whether you go with that positive flow. It’s up to you.
“The most important decision we make is whether we believe we live in a friendly or hostile universe.” quote: Albert Einstein
Einstein knew a thing or two about the universe. One hundred years ago he developed perhaps the most important theory of how the universe is constructed, special and general relativity. He did this from just his own thoughts from within his head, a truly great thinker. This is a man worth listening too and he realised that our own attitude to our day and our life is important. He knew the universe we get is one we create for ourselves, in our heads.
“Happiness is available. Please help yourself to it.” quote: Thich Nhat Hanh
Many people worry about themselves and their loved ones, are unhappy with where they are or have lost something they had or want something they feel they can’t get. Happiness is a state of mind. Mindfulness and meditation can help you put this into context and help you find a way to a more peaceful and happy life. You can achieve more, attain what you long for, it’s just a matter of taking some steps, having a plan and paying attention to yourself and giving yourself time and care.
